he didn't step into the rain and go crazy. i recognized him from somewhere and he got mad. he attacked me first but i had my gun ready and shot him. i don't know what the fuck is wrong with him but he definitely meant to do what he did.
he didn't even step out into the rain until after he threatened me.

[First problem first. It's not sure how much of John's... everything is just the weird bullshit this place does, but in practical terms, it doesn't like the tentacles. Or the weird visual distortion that made it so hard to keep looking at him, if that could be turned into some kind of camouflage.]

I recommend remaining visibly in the vicinity of other Convoy members, and keeping your radio on at all times, until we've determined the threat level.

this guy, john, he's not exactly the kaiser, but i think they're connected? somehow. he said he didn't remember it but didn't deny the connection.

Primary evaluation should be threat level. Especially if that's how he acts during transformations. It's not unique but it's dangerous.

from what i've seen he's been pretty low key so far, but he could be biding his time or something.

where i come from magic comes from the gods, and they all have a sigil. i don't recognize any of these but they feel like the same sort of thing.

The point is that if he's trying to pull something that's where he'd be interested. There are already people in the Convoy studying that and sharing their findings, and it's fucked at least one of them up. So as a source of power it's dangerous and unreliable at best. Entirely ineffective at worst.
